My brother ate expired peanut butter once cause it was late and he just got home from work and I'm guessing he was stoned. At like a double decker pbj sandwhich...got sick as hell. Was like 3 years old.

I just drank expired milk...it's usually good for at least 3/4 days after it expires.

Oh yeah, all the time. I look at the exp. date as more of a recommendation than anything. If it smells ok, and looks ok, I don't care when it was made.

We used to have "extreme eating" contests in college.

I "won" the last one by eating coffee grinds in old lunch meat dipped in old mayonnaise with a year old christmas candy that had liquor in it. There was some other crap in there, but I can't remember what.

after that we stopped having those contests...

wasting food that's possibly expired = a few cents to a few dollars
running to the bathroom every 5 minutes = priceless
