"Do not call" list expiring

"Do not call" list expiring

If you signed up your phone numbers on the national "do not call" list in 2002, you need to go back and renew it, I understand that the listing only lasts for 5 years, and I HATE TELEMARKETERS!!!!

There's a 201 area code number who ignores that list...

...I think he's done for though.

Once I reported that he was trying to recruit terrorists, and trying to get people to get online instruction in bomb making, etc. the phone calls from this number stopped abruptly.

Another reason why i bought a cell phone and shut home phone service off lol. Now i never get those calls its been a nice few years.

If your call is listed on the do not call list and you report them, they can be fined or prosecuted.
If they are recruiting terrorists, you probably don't even need to be on the list.

In any other case, if you aren't on the list you don't have much recourse, and cell phones are not going to be secret numbers forever, get those on the list too, or expect to get junk calls....


Still there are tons of loopholes, so it doesn't end them entirely;
