Do CF hoods bring too much rice/attention?
I am getting an OEM style CF hood (I couldn't handle any of those aftermarket crazy hoods with scoops and vents all over) but I've been told by a few people that they kind of regret getting it due to the extra attention that it pulls.
I'm wondering if I should have it sprayed to match. What do you guys think?

if you kept your factory hood you can always sell your carbon fiber one. if you traded, find someone else to trade with and if you want, ask from some cash on top.
hope this helps. IMO, i think carbon fiber hood and trunk looks awesome. not rice at all as long as it's real.

I had a CF hood with the slots and a giant scoop, never had a problem as far as it drawing attention. Got bored of it after awhile though. Back to stock for me!

I like mine, but it does attract tire kickers who want to check it out up close and poke, prod and tap on it.I have come out to my car a few times to find this happening and to my surprise I have not blown a fuse and just asked them calmly to not do that.
I love my CF hood, and I dont notice more attention other than people telling my they like my hood. The cops around here dont seem to mind it, they are more concerened with my exhaust lol. Eventually I want to swap for a CF truck too.

Rgame has a point though about people always want to touch it and I have seen a few guys molesting my car.
But they scatter when you hit the alarm panic button haha....

my opinion to your question, is if you have a black car i wouldnt think it'd bring too much attention.
if you had a different colored car it'd probably stand out. this is probably the reason why i didnt go to the CF route.

I got a cf trunk thinking it was "cool", I was soooo over it a few months later. Most recently I found someone to trunk trade me thank god...It requires quite a bit maintainence too, hand wash and wax no more drive thru car washes.
the pic on the right is in current contion, the pic on the left is c/f with hk awesomeness.
