the reason why they have angry, unhelpful people working at the dmv is because we need them, not the other way around. they dont give a F if we have to wait because they know we need their help.

lets make the dmv commission based (the more people you serve the more you get paid) see how fast the dmv lines go by after that

i try to be as nice and friendly as possible. no matter how pissed he/she looks at the dmv. if he/she (usually a lady) wants to give me attitude even after im nice to her, so be it. she hates her life and her job. enjoy b!tch

 

Redwood city for me has always been fast. Never make an appointment i am am always out of there within 30-45min.

Also, not that there's anything wrong with it, but has anyone else noticed that there isn't a single white person working there? It's all minorities... This could just be the case in Fremont, but it's been like this as far as I can remember. I wonder why? Perhaps it is the jobs that affirmative action got them?

Seriously though, I have no issues with any ethnicity/minority, well, that's not counting Serbs, but I don't think they are really a minority. jk

I hate going to Fry's, the people that work there are either rude, don't know ANYTHING about their products, or don't speak a word of English. It's so frustrating when I go there. I just skip them all together and go to best buy.

But, when I lived in LA, I made friends with Brenda, the manager of the DMV office in Santa Monica. Whenever I needed anything, I just called her, and it was taken care of.

But seriously, you can take care of 90% of your DMV stuff at AAA, in fact, I got new plates for my Subaru on my lunch break in downtown SF a few weeks ago.
