I used to do fiberglass years back, and that woven boat cloth material you used is sometimes a PITA to deal with, it doesn't like to go around corners and would trap air. The chopped strand mat works real well for what you are doing, it has a binder that breaks down when you put the resin on it and molds to fit much better. The woven is stronger though so its a trade off...but for that the chopped strand is plenty strong enough.

Put sound deadening material inside.
Not sure if I wanna keep it semi-gloss black tho...

My current trunk setup with "home made" V and X braces
Rockford Fosgate 5 channel amp mounted flush, 6.5" and 6x9" speakers amped.
