^^ That is an awesome quad. I personally like quads more than dirtbikes (I get a ton of crap from my friends, their argument is always 'you can't get places you can on a dirtbike') but a buddy of mine had a Raptor 660cc, sooo much fun, I was pissed when he sold it and I didn't buy it from him
If you sell that, hook it UP!
Are you asking if we would be interested in buying one that you HAVE, or are you looking at one that you are considering to purchase?
If YOU have one you are looking to sell, I'd like it.

dirtbikes usually have more respect.
mainly because people and beginners that want to get into off roading choose quads because they are easier, they think theyre safer when theyre not, and they require wider trails which are usually easier
maybe they think its easier to look cool on a quad, riding them on two wheels and doing donuts etc.
also quad riders, like cars, think they own the trails and never pull over for you, at least in my experiences.
yeah i ride on goat trails that hardly a motorcycle can fit thru. also you can make your own trail on a dirtbike and get out of sticky situations like turning around on a slope, and not be afraid of your rig rolling, since the bike will fall.
Ive know of a few quads totalled from rolling down hills and flying thru the air.
My friend bought a beater 250 honda quad and we drift it around, they are really fun, i'd definately get one if i lived in the desert or pismo.
ive always wanted to put street tires on one and lower it. But thats another $5000 that i dont have.
A raptor 80cc would be sick!

i uped the gearing so it hauls on the road
and yes they are more dangerous cause it gives you a false sense of security... when you crash on a quad, guess what... your going with it.
when you wipe out on a dirt bike most of the time you hit the floor and the bike goes tumbling

I'm looking into getting a couple little 50's to rally my property with my brother. Rebuild my MTB step down and kickers.
any recommendations.
wouldn't mind having a decent ktm enduro though.

50's are outdated IMO...they were only cool years ago because everyone had the same bike and competition was even. 50's are just too cramped and you cant jump them as easy. also rounding turns full locked you need BMX bars which makes them handle weird.
But if you get two 50's for a good deal, i'd do it, anything is fun when you have another to race.
An XR70 is cheapest, probably 600ish or
any 110 model for 800-1000$
Plus Kawi and Suzuki 110s are scooter engines from ***an...so they come to the states with 3 gears, and they block out the 4th gear, which can be unblocked in the tranny so you will have 4 gears, also a clutch is pretty easy to put on one of those bikes.

yeah i came from Hondas, now that i look back, they were pieces of **** those ***anese bikes. (they were all XR's)
The only thing about new 4 strokes are their head problems after so many hours. Once they get hard to start you need to rebuild them or pay to have them rebuilt. That also goes with KTM 4 strokes as well, but not so much it seems.
Thats why i went the 2 stroke route, because 4 strokes are so advanced nowadays, and 2 storkes are the easiest thing to put back together if you have too.

you CAN jump a 50, but its like going from your mtn bike to a BMX bike, which i find hard to ride, even though i grew up on a BMX. I had an XR80 a few years ago, and that thing was a blast. You can put a 100cc or 120cc head on them too i believe.
I never really jumped my 50, i mainly kept it railed around turns and would ride up my road with the silencer off
