I didn't see anything but I heard the sirens. I was wondering what was happening. RIP.

^^^^ that's what I thought when I saw it on the news last night. The baby wasn't even in a car seat.

Cars don't kill,...drivers behind the cars kill.

I saw the news report last night about it. The cops feel she took the offramp going about 70mph. That's in a Chevy suburban! The scariest thing on the roads these days are women in SUV's.

besides that... why was she driving like some ricer in cut spring honda on the freeway???

Kids in her car... kids... I wonder if the family was polynisian/Pacific Islander. They tend to drive suburbans these days cause there familys tend to be large. That was a packed suburban too; 7 people...

Question

The CHP is still looking for the other vehicle reported recklessly driving, described as a gray Ford Camaro of Chevrolet Chavel, Chase said.
Is it me, or is this totally confusing?

Is this why there were so many CHP on 280 today?

Stupid people who don't wear seatbelts, and stupid people who drive hella fast in a Suburban, I wonder if thats the whole story, I mean Why would the driver swerve from far left to the offramp, especially in a suburban??? Unless it was running from the camaro???

They said in the news that people called 911 saying that the 2 cars involved looked like they were racing.

I just feel sorry for the kid...

I think I saw it. I was heading home from San Jose, and came up on some really bad traffic about a mile away from Serramonte. I dunno if that was the Ocean Avenue exit though. There were a bunch of police officers, firemen, and abulances.

What I find odd is why people were racing. There were way too many cars blocking the way. You couldn't race (or should I say, driving wrecklessly) unless u were cutting people off, which was what happened here.

this is gonna sound mean...but if the mom was that stupid, the kid will probably grow up to be just as stoopid. Damn...I'm an *******. Seriously though, it sucks that the kid had to pay for the stupidity of the mom.

Looking for a Ford Camaro is like OJ Simpson's lifelong pursuit of the "real killer."

+1 for researching before submitting a news story for KTVU
