/\ wow! and I THOUGHT CA potholes were the biggest in the country.......guess I was wrong....ouch...sorry to hear about that Dre....but, lemme get this straight, BOTH of your headlights burned out at the same time? Are you sure there isnt a short or something else going on up there? That seems kinda wierd. <shrug>

That stinks!
I had 18" ADR rims on my WRX a year ago and hit a fat pothole while I was on a trip but didn't think anything of it and drove all the way home and the next few days before I started hearing noises. I checked under the car and sure enough, I bent the inside of one and actually took a chunk out of the other but the tire was still holding air fine, as odd as that is. I immediately changed back to my stockers.

Believe it or not where it snows they do resurface the roads. Not as frequently as they should but it is better than CA where they never do, just patch upon patch upon patch. By the way I lived ten years in MD.

I may not live where it snows but I have driven plenty in Utah, Nevada, Colorado & Wyoming, and the roads were in far better shape than California IMHO. Other states actually repair the roads and put signs up for the craters in the road.
