Dear Asshat...
Dear Asshat,
Thank you for hitting my car last night. I'm serious. I've been thinking about modifying the body in that exact spot, and you kind sir, you saved me the trouble. You should have left a note so I could have called and thanked you. Now I'm left hoping this message will reach you.
Sincerely,
The owner of the blue Subaru in the 2nd & San Carlos Garage

It's not horrible, but the door panel and quarter-panel will be replaced. They hit the back wheel as well, but that Rota fought back. My guess is they pull in wide and thought they were good.

Sorry to hear this, Sucks to hear it was a suby owner :/
My car was also hit in the bumper last october and they left no note. I found the car that hit me the next day, confronted the chick and she of course denied it. All our marks matched up perfectly and some one on my block said it was her too. Since then she hasn't returned to my block. She used to park here everyday for the last couple of years cus she goes to Stanford and my street is closest to the university.
What kind of damage did it do?
edit- sorry didn't see answer yet cus I was posting.

On the driver's side: rear quarter-panel into the rear door. There are creases in the panels, along with some gouges, so they'll be getting replaced. I'm gonna call my insurance guy later after I sleep some. As bummed as I am about getting hit, I really don't care because it's something that can be replaced. Money comes and goes, ya know?

First of all, I sympathize. Hit and run arsholes need to be relieved of their cars altogether. I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me and/or my wife. Good luck getting it fixed, and I hope Karma bites that d1ckhead in the ***.

Dude, that really sucks. Hope you get things cleared up without any headaches. Lately I have been paranoid to park my suby or even drive the suby (too many cops) in downtown SJ. Sounds like you have decent insurance so it won't be too bad, I was rear-ended by a uninsured driver a few years ago and turned into a huge hassle.
