Yes, the 2005 WRX's do have steering rack bushings just like any other WRX. You are thinking of the 2005 WRX STi's that you can't change out because of their revised suspension setup from 2004.

Before I take my car in anywhere from dealer to tires, I make sure its very clean and nice. If the people see your car is kept pristine they are more likely to treat it that way, and are also less likely to abuse it or get it scratched or anything because they have a fear you will notice right away that your clean ride is messed up. This could also prevent them washing it, just a thought

You're so right, At least when the car is clean I can find dings and dents right away. One time Green Valley Subaru put a dent and I didn't notice it until later because of the rain water stains. Concord BMW will wash your car no matter what, but now I place a note in the car and they get it.

yeah, i was thinkin you had a black car too. swirl marks are really noticable on black...

damn dealerships... i try to avoid em as much as possible.
