Spotted Sunday morning on Golden Gate Bridge: Cops on bikes toting radar guns. At least 6 CHP cars working or queued to nab speeders.

 

Scary, I saw 4 chp cars all waiting to bust ppl on the northbound end of the bridge on...sunday also I guess. I guess ppl are still stupid enough to speed around there...which is why I always roll through sausalito instead

 

I agree, but the flow of traffic on GG bridge is definately over the posted speed limit most days when I cross it. It's be easy pickins for the CHP.

And then there's Richmond Bridge... I don't think I saw a single person driver under 65mph this afternoon. And that's a construction zone!

 

Speeding on bridges=bad.

AFAIK, it is illegal to do what they are doing. It's considered a speed trap for 2 or more ground units to work together to get speeders. Only airplanes can assist. Also, if they issue you a ticket, all of them involved have to be in court.
