ATTN: 'boarders & skiers
anyone looking to head up for a day trip? i usually try to avoid weekends, esp. saturdays, but i'm starting school again tomorrow so i ain't got much choice right now. plus, this work week i have sat&sun off. hopefully, i'll be getting fri&sat as my regular days off, so i can hit up the slopes on fridays!!! i was thinking of doing sierra@tahoe, alpine meadows(haven't been to either this year yet) or sugar bowl. sat should be a decent day as far as snow & road conds. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/wrhq...+017+MAPCOORDS^182^34

if i had a place to stay over friday night, i'd go friday and saturday, instead of sunday
but i don't think ill feel like driving up fri, drivin home to wake up and drive back

 

looks like i'll be hitting up n* on sun. found out the other day that my co-worker & a couple of his buddies are heading there. plus, i really should get my hmwk(yes...the quarter started on mon! waaaaa!) done 1st before i go out to play! *wonders to self -- when the hell did i become a responsible adult?* i'd prefer another resort since it's been so crowded the last few times i'd gone during the past 2 seasons. but i'll deal w/ it. i'll just have to pull my old bag o' tricks to avoid {edit: the masses} on the hill. i still haven't figured out how to deal w/ sucky parking other than getting there a 1/2 hr early. well, wish me luck w/ accomplishing my mantra: hit the books, then the slopes
