a couple of my female coworkers have husbands MUCH older than them. I'm talking 20 year difference. they are still together after all these years so relationships with big age differences can work. of course.. none of my coworkers hooked up with them while they were 17. i think 1 was 20something and the other was like 30something. those extra few years make a big difference

i'm 27 and wouldn't bother dating girls younger than 23...someone mentioned that we change when we go through college and then again when we go through our 24-30y.o. career phase. i couldn't agree more.

girls that young might tell you they know what they want, but they don't know what they're talking about.

move on to the next candidate...

Don't do it man. My fiance just turned 26, is finishing up with pharmacy school, and still doesn't know what she wants a lot of the time. A high school girl is going to be so much drama.

Don't do it. Find a girl closer to your age. Maybe you're really immature so you click or something, but I dunno. All I can think of is this pic...

HAHHA... my friends are already making jokes about taking her to the prom... buying beer, lottery tickets and cigaretts for her friends. I could also take her in dave and buster's after 10pm.

and my favorite.... "when you got your drivers license, she was in first grade"

See, like everyone said, the ten year difference is negated after a certain point... but a 27 year old and a 17 year old? That's bad...

That's trying to date a kid...

I don't let age concern me when it comes to people I like... except for the whole legal thing... that's a deterrent... otherwise 10 years, 15 yrs... whatever.

Right Huck?

My girlfriend of 2 years is 20. I am 26. Not that big of difference when you just look at the years. My girl and I have had this fight way to many times.

When you take the years that 6 years is covering it's huge.

I am not gonna say don't do it cause I've seen it work..shoot we are over 2 years now and doing pretty good. I know a couple couple's way more....13 years...21 years...etc.

What I am gonna say is be aware that this will be very difficult. You want to go drink. She can't. You want to do this or do that..you have to pay for pretty much everything. emotional maturity levels are way off. Life experience. world views...things are changing with them at such a rapid pace that you could very easily be the one getting hurt. Or you could very easily hurt her. It's a very heavy weight to carry. TRUST ME>
