Sorry I had to bail early, I'm just glad that I made it to the service, and saw a few folks.

My boss was entirely unsupportive about the whole thing and I had to scam my way just to be there for the service, I expect some fall out after this one.

Maybe dan can give him a swift kick in the *** for me.

On a side note, I am so happy I'm part of i-club, this is a great community, none other like it.

I think we were great as customers, but there were some serious douches in that place. One guy came up to a server and asked her how many more minutes before his food would arrive.

Really sorry I couldn't make it.. Found no way to get away yesterday... Looks like it was a pretty awesome event and the flowers at the coast is great.

That place is great, just had breakfast out there on Saturday morning. Cool spot to end the trip.

Someone (I don't remember who, I apologize, think it was Jerry) proposed a monthly drive and dine.

I know a bonfire is in our NEAR future.

And I was going to try to maybe get some people over for Saturday night for festivities...still unknown though.

(Warning: long post -Summary of Event)

After only sleeping for not even 3 hours the previous night and having school all day just to get home to bake over 500 cookies & brownies for 8 hours and sleeping at around 5 in the morning before the funeral began.. it was all TOTALLY worth it. I told myself I would not end up in another kitchen after all that baking, but I totally lied haha. Had to help everyone get the food ready at the event! I couldn't help it..

It was hard looking at all his photos.. I really miss you Daniel.. It was hard to watch everyone cry.. I told myself that I had to be strong for all of those around me.. It was a time to celebrate Daniel's life..

I loved the fact that Daniel's chiropractor was there sharing his story about Daniel.. It was funny when he said "After watching that video, I realized Daniel was a very good looking guy. I think my wife is worried about me" and everyone would just laugh. I loved the part about how they were driving and they saw the cows all standing and looking in the same direction and they wondered why that was, and Daniel out of all randomness says "Cows always stand in the same direction looking North" (or something like that) and his chiropractor would say "but that's not north" and awkward silence would fill the air.. and Daniel would come back and say "But I got you thinking didn't I?!" and they would all just bust up laughing.. LOL.. I think that's what totally made everyone remember Daniel because it sounds like something he would say haha

Well anyway, I did fine up until everyone started sharing their stories about Daniel.. Ave's story totally hit me.. I couldn't hold in the tears any longer especially after watching him cry. It was so painful.. cuz I can feel all the pain & the sorrow just listening to his words.. It was definitely a difficult thing to watch..

Kyle, I LOVED your speech.. "....We all watched as this Sedona Red Wagon with gold wheels drove in.. and..... It was love at first sight" (or something like that) LOL that most definitely lifted our spirits. Thank you for that.

And Charlie's speech about how he was drunk and in the club dancing, and getting his groove on.. and Daniel would whisper to him "Hey man, that's a dude" LOL omg that was just TOO hilarious.. I loved how you whispered that part too.. Thank you for that story as well..

I was both sad and happy when Daniel's mom got up there to speak. It made me proud of our I-club community. The part where she said how everyone would tell her how amazed they are of how well she's holding up, and she would say that "Although my heart is broken, it is because of all of you, my heart is mending together a lot better" (something like that).. When she said that, it really made me proud of each and every one of you.. and I know Daniel is proud of all of us.

I am so happy we were all crazy enough to go up to the beach in that CRAZY, COLD, rainy weather to throw out the flowers in memory of Daniel.. The hike up to the top of that hill was crazy!! Thank you Bobby for helping me up there! I wouldn't have been able to get up there without you!! that mud was crazy!

I am sorry Ave and I were not able to stay & have dinner with you all. I really wanted to, but Ave's my ride home. I wanted to say goodbye to you all but you were all in the restaurant by that time. Just wanted to tell all of you that I do love you all and I very much appreciate everything that you all do.

Just remember to never lose sight of things. Life is short and we should never waste our time being angry with the little things. We really need to respect one another and all other people out there. We are all good people, but it's easy to lost sight of things and make ourselves appear as if we are not. Remember that Daniel is watching over us, so don't do anything that you know he wouldn't want you to. He loves us all very much so please remember that. Life is way too short. We only have one life to live, we should definitely make the best of it. That's what Daniel would say

p.s. I loved being your teacher's assistant FASTCHR hehe

(sorry for the long post - didn't think i'd type that much - but you know how that goes)
