Only speeding ticket I ever got was by plane. When I went to traffic school, the instructor asked me if I went to court to get it reduced, I hadn't, I was busted fair and square I thought. Well, he told me I should have gone to court because BOTH officers would have to show up to verify my ticket.. the one in the plane that clocked me and the one the actually wrote the ticket. Maybe they have changed the rules as this was 10+ years ago.. but it would be worth looking into.

Well the lady at the traffic court said if you are going over 80mph you don't qualify for traffic school but to shedule a court appearance and talk to the judge because sometimes they will let you off. I am going to try and fight it anyways and see if I can get my ticket reduced.

I could only imagine the look on my face if they told me I was clocked by the plane.

Get the .50 cal anti aircraft gun mod for your car. No more plane speeding tickets.

Well my courtesy notice said I actually had to go to court, there was no option to just pay if wanted to. In court the judge reduced the fine and let me take traffic school. If I get a ticket within the next 2 months though I'm heading to ticketassain and gonna fight it.

traffic court is hella relaxed. You check in a sit inside the courtroom, then when your case is up you either plead guily or not guilty. If you plead guilty the judge usually reduces your fine and gives you the option of going to traffic school. You then go pay your fine. If you plead not guilty you get assigned a new court date.

always do trial by written declaration first though b/c if you are found guilty you still get to go into the courtroom and try to fight it again...so u get 2 chances instead of 1....

The only downside is that you have to pay the fine up front, but if you have the money to do it then its definatly the way to go (since you get 2 chances)

do the planes user lasers or radar to clock your speed? Would a radar detector work and warn you?

When I get tickets, I go in and plead guilty and they drop the fine by about 75%.
