This topic has been beaten to death. Lots of debate if you do a search. However, this is a simple breakdown.
Most plastic radiators last 100k+ miles. If you go with a stock radiator, the cost including installation is about the cost of just a full aluminum radiator.
It really comes down to what you want to do with your car. IMHO, without the need of additional cooling a full aluminum radiator provides, I find it hard to justify the ~50-75% increase in cost and the worry of things not fitting perfectly.

My wrx rad popped at 105ish - went with full aluminum radiator, worth it imo if you going to have it a long time and if you push your car hard like I do (built motor as well)
