D-spec yay or nay?
Yeah I could use the suspension forum, but it's usually not as alive.
Anyone BIAC'ers have any experience with Tokico D-specs? Thoughts? Opinions?
thanks!

Im very impressed with them! Havent tested it on the track but for street use they are awesome. Wide-range adjustablility.Finish is a gun metal color for the stock look. You can definitely feel the difference from firm and soft. Good for the local twisties. They arent bad paired up with s-techs, alittle stiff but compensated by adjusting the dampening.
Good product, definitely recommend for those not going the coilover route and want some kind of adjustable option. You would definitely need the TIC strut spacers to put them on the rear.
I posted a review on subarureview.com
Hope this helps

I have them on my 2002 WRX with STI pink springs. Going to give them a really good test on the North Bay drive Saturday.
I haven’t found a good reason to go softer then 4 turns from full stiff; going softer doesn’t really improve the ride quality (that’s what my passengers tell me) but the cornering ability drops off a lot.
Overall I like the D-spec, most people who ride in my car though say otherwise.

Yeah, I suppose that different springs/rates will require different settings to get it to match up just right with the strut dampening! STI pinks are pretty firm for a non-coilover spring aren't they?

Absolutely GREAT strut... makes the AGX's obsolete (IMO). I have had GR-2's, AGX's and coilovers all on my car before the recent install on the Spec D' with my Swift springs.
I went with RCE camber plates on the front and Group N top hats for the rear. I have all the fast/sharp turn in of the coilovers... without any of the loose fillings from the ride.
Your setting are seven full turns and there IS a spot that will just perfect for you... My ride is firm, but comfortable ~

They worked great on the i-club drive Saturday; people with stiffer springs had a harder time on the rough back roads.
