haha ballz used the excuse his plate got stolllen cus hes been pulled over for his plates at least 50 times hahaha. The last time he got pulled over the cop said are you sure you ordered new plates and ballz said um no not yet. Cop let him go but said he needs to get his front plate on. Still to this day he still hasnt put it on. I on the other hand just put it on cus well i dont want to get pulled over if they run my car by chance its in his name haha. Less drama for me anyhow is the way i look at it.
my hudband also picked the car on the lot that wasnt drilled yet. It has the factory drill holes but they dont line up with CA plates. There is an indent on it for the real drill marks but he wouldnt let dealer drill it haha.

i put mine on...decided i didnt want to give the cops that little bit more of a reason to pull me over.
the cut thing looks silly in my opinion.
also u can add the corvette to the list of cars that didn't have stock mounting in the front.

Actually I was passing someone last month and a car turned onto the street I was on. To avoid the head on collision I floored it and got out the way as soon as I could. I had time but I didn't want to be in that lane any longer than need be. It turns out that it was a CHP and they ticketed me for speeding. She was facing me and she didn't say a thing about my front plate being gone. She did give me a warning on the front window tint. Told her the place didn't mention anything.

I had my front plate off for about a month before a trooper pulled me over. He could've fined me, but instead asked where it was. I told him I took it off last time I detailed the car and forgot to put it back on. Then he asked if it was in the car. Apparently in CO some people will pull off one of their plates put on an extra set of registration stickers and use them on two different cars.
I just put the thing back on so they wouldn't have reason to pull me over for that anymore. When taking off your front plate you take your chances. Putting on the delete trims is kinda rubbing it in their face. I wouldn't try it. If your looking to bend or cut the plate to increase airflow I know I've seen a hinged bracket that folds up at 35MPH and above that would work.

that would be cool, but would def get you in more trouble than no plate at all. Just cuz its a hide-a-way.
But getting a spring light enough to give way at 35mph is a great idea. except 35 mph is where all the fun driving takes place IMO
