Custom Exhaust fab-Cost and where to go?

I have the DP/test pipe combo I want as well as the muffler I want, so I just need 3" SS piping from the test pipe to the muffler. So I just need a shop to connect the dots

i have a 3'' custom catback pipe for sale if you want it. 80 bucks takes it. forgot if it was madrel bent or crush. I had it made with the less bends possible. even if it is crush bent it doesnt even look crushed. LOLS. all u'd have to do is get teh pipe chopped at the muffler and flanged.

dang that's alot, should just buy a catback

I get mine done in El Cerrito. They guy has done a few exhausts on three of my cars in the past. Does incredible work. He did a 2.5inch with a magnaflow muffler and tip on my last car for 325. He did my current full 3inch on my WRX for 180. He also made an incredible exhaust for my 914 a while back, which he had to keep overnight to work on. Only charged 300 (two mufflers and tons of excellent bends). Muffler Works is the name. I see everything from EVO's to C6 corvettes in there on a regular basis. That's probably too far for you, but it will give you a good idea of what stuff should cost.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a trip if it means a good deal on a quality piece

If you want perfect work, I recommend Blaine Fabrication. This guy does the best welding work I have ever seen south of Top of the Hill. He does everything for the people I know who have track cars.

sounds expensive

Im trying to get the full 3" TBE for around 550 (dp/tp are 235, muffler 110). So I got about 200 for the remaining piping

Edit:fuzzy math

He does charge for his work. I have had him do a couple things and I have never had to take it back, and have always been really impressed with his work. He works on primarily race and track cars, and his work always stands up to higher stresses.

Expensive is a relative term. For me, paying a little less and having to deal with going back to have work redone is a lot more expensive than paying to get it done the right way.

FWIW I called Performance Fabrication and they wanted around $180 not including materials to weld me up a 2.5" mid-pipe with resonator for my RS. This is not SS. I doubt you will get what you need for around $200, especially 3" mandrel + SS, but good luck!
