i was wondering if there are any custom exhaust shops around san francisco or the bay area...(fremont,belmont,san mateo..anything in between).. and how much would a custom exhaust run for? thanks in advance

p.s. the exhaust set up is for my EJ25...
p.p.s ... i would also like to know the positives and negatives of both straight pipe and mandrel bent.

 

Emmanuel's mufflers does custom work, non-mandrel-bent.
Emmanuel isn't the most friendly guy.
They're open saturdays though.

 

That's exactly who I was going to recommend. I have been going to him since the early-90's. I have been told that he is kind of stand-offish, but my experience with him has been really good. There's a guy in Sunnyvale that does amazing work. Not super cheap, but he does it right. He specializes in real track cars and does work for many amateur/pro racers. I will have to find his number, but he's Alan Blaine of Blaine Fabrication.
