Curious about something

I see people do a gauge cluster swap from STIs to WRXs. If you put the STI gauge cluster in a WRX, what about the odometer? Is the odometer reading stored in the gauge cluster? SO if I were to do this swap, would my mileage be off?? I really want to do this but I dont want my car to read 70,000miles from the other car when it only has 53,000. Anyone done this or know?

Yes, your mileage would be off.

Some places can adjust the odometer reading if you can give them proof of your old reading.....Tacoma Speedometer can do it.
