personally, i wouldn't be bragging about getting ticketed for any speed. tickets suck, raise your insurance, and are basically a pain.

oh, and even though 100 doesn't seem that fast on 280, don't expect the CHP to share your opinion.

people stop complaining about how fast each person drives. stuff happens, people die. It's just life. You could slip and fall to your death in the shower tomorrow.

Yah...but if you kill my family driving 130+, I can guarantee that the death toll would soon include you. It's not just life.

I'm just banking on the fact that you go 140 and blow your tire and roll your car. Hey, it's all in good fun right?

exactly....its not an excuse that its just life, and people die, if you can avoid accidents, killing, and hurting other people, why take the risk of driveing over 100 in the freeway, don't add on to the countless a$$holes and ****faces in the freeway in each day that we drive, everyone knows the WRX is a fast car, we don't have to prove that to anyone, track it and go 200mph or something....dude, its not just life....its a precious life, unless you really have no care for others...if you don't care about losing yours, please spare the rest of us

but its still not an excuse to drive over 100mph whenever you feel like it, that kind of speed are for the tracks

You are proving to be such a complete idiot. Differences in speed are what make for dangerous accidents and the higher the total speed, the more likely occupants are to be seriously injured or killed. It's not rocket science or brain surgery.

Think about it. When the speed limit was 55, most folks drove between 70-85 mph on 280. Now that the speed limit is 65, most folks drive between 70-85 mph on 280.
1) People do not expect or look out for vehicles traveling at triple digits, so regardless of your cars ability, it is not as safe as going with the flow of traffic.
2) The law which says you should stay right except to pass is not enforced in the United States. Driver's receive virtually no training before given a license to drive. Therefore driving autobahn speeds on 280 is not as safe as driving autobahn speeds on an autobahn.
3) It's fine if you don't care much for your life, but people I love drive 280 every day. Based on your posts, you will drive at whatever speed you want, fine. But I implore you to please be very careful driving triple digits on 280. Idiots will cut you off because they did not see you. Make sure you have plenty of life and the right amount of air in your tires.
