Ok so after a crappy day of driving halfway through mines road and my friends evo breaking down...(ecu fuse kept goin), around 9:30 or so we are driving out of fremont because thats where we got his car dropped off at - speed element. On the freeway, he is riding passenger in his friends evo and we are on phones talking deciding what to do.

We hang up and I realize we both slowed down to like 55 so I sped up to 70, and I gave it some gas. As I was bringing it back up I realize there is a motorcycle coming up next to me. I was like ok whatever, some motorcyclist came up between us and is trying to **** with me or something. Whatever, its not like we don't get challenged daily almost as it is - aka I didn't do anything about it, waited for the bike to pass. I look over and its a cop, looks at me flashes on his lights and yells pull over, and on the left shoulder mind you, not the right one. He was PISSED.

So I'm like **** wtf did I do? Maybe he thought I was trying to pull on the evo or something...who didn't give any gas at all. He gets to my window, so pissed off its not even funny. He thought I was trying to RACE THE COP!!! I only got a few words out but he was pretty much saying tell it to the judge, this is a misdemeanor yada yada yada. I could not believe it. I was like why would I race a cop...thats suicidal. So after being pulled over in a modified car for allegedly racing a police officer, it ended in like 2 or 3 minutes with a warning and he drove off. What the ****?! Maybe he came to his senses or something...but it was friggin DUMB!

That was my fun day. -.-

 

hahah It was hard to read the rest of the story when it started out like "so I was driving my WRX to pickup my buddy in his broken evo"


...but yeah, cops are dicks just like normal people....he was probably pissed with his homelife like most cops are and took it out on you until he realized he was wrong and left. ahahah

That’s not as dumb as my encounter...

I was driving in Milpitas / Fremont area in the fast lane. All of sudden I see this cop/CHP pull off to the left shoulder. I thought something was going on so I slowed down to ~45 just in case (so did everybody else). Then as I was about to pass him, and since everything seemed okay, I sped back up to 65. At the same time he started to speed up as well. So now we are going in parallel with him being on the shoulder. So obviously he was trying to get out so I brake and he did the same thing! I was like what the hell!? I then pull to the second lane to give him some space. As he came out and passed me he said something on the speaker, which I didn't catch. Mind you all that happened within about 5 seconds or so.

 

I almost went to blows with a fremont cop once. the guy cut me off so bad I had to drive over the center devide to keep from hitting him. In my old truck. He pulled me over and was lliterally spitting on my face mad. it was his fault. I had a witness. I tried calmly to deal with him but when he started throwing F bombs at me and telling me to take him to court I damn near lost it. My passenger literally jumped on my arm to keep me from smashing his face. It was my first ticket so I just took it in the butt and let it go. Didn't go to jail and didn't get a point. Blah.


Needless to say....you're very lucky.

 

Last week I was pulled over for actually smoking a cop while accelerating onto a freeway

I then proceeded to go 90mph through a construction zone and toss my cigarette out the window (this is at night). I did not know that the car I smoked was a friggin' cop until he pulled me over.

When he asked me why I did it, I told him "well, I just gave some money to a poor folk, but then I realized he'd probably just spend it on drugs instead of something positive, so I was really frustrated and just decided to gun it"

Luckily it was an east palo alto cop who probably doesn't care about traffic violation nearly as much as drugs or murders. Great guy.

Before someone flames me for being reckless FYI, I have never gotten a speeding ticket. In my LIFE. I'm not smooth talking my way out of tickets, I just don't drive crazy, er...except that one time.

I don't believe I ever said that . But yea it was teh ghey. Maybe cops like having power because they have a large wife that owns them at night or something :/. Rush hour 3 anyone? (taxi driver wife)

I had a cop ask me why I broke a shopping list of laws right in front of him and why I was in such a hurry.....told him I had to take a dump.

 

ROFL what was his reaction to that?

 

I've been stopped in a parking lot for not coming "to a complete stop". I told the cop I slowed so I could look to both sides, that I had no intention of stopping. Oh how I loved private property with no signs saying vehicle code is enforced :-)

 

Thank your lucky stars he let you away with only a verbal warning. You got out of a potentially very, very, very bad situation.

Maybe pay better attention and not drive while talking on the phone. ;P

 

Ha...yea the phone didnt distract me. What I dont understand is why the cop was coming between us at like 60mph or a bit less i think we were at on the freeway? they can do that in traffic but on the freeway? wtf. Shoulda opened my door.
