Thanks everyone...we really really appreciate it.
When we decided to do this, we flip flopped many many times on if we could be competitive doing this and mostly if we could even afford to do it. As you can imagine its really expensive to do this...especially when you have no sponsorship(s). But you have to crawl before you can walk, so to ask something of anyone prior to doing this is not in question.
I have to thank David for driving his *** off with all the changes we made to the car in the last 2 weeks. Adding another 100 whp & 100+ tq from what he was ever use to on the car is a big change.
AND A HUGE THANK YOU to GST Motorsports. For Mike coaching us on the ways of Time Attack, constantly pushing us to stay on track and get to the event, for the tune that kept the car together, and for all the track side support...we constantly needed stuff from the GOTO/GST rig...to all the GST crew THANK YOU. and Congrats to GST for 1st place win.....again! LOL
* I will have pics and a write up later this week

SPOTTED!
did I see you on the 580 heading East Friday early evening? I was in a silver WRX...I would have honked buy my horn is busted.
You were towing your car with the LIC logo across both doors.

That was us, we had just got on the road from GST on our way down to Buttonwillow. What's with the horn? Is the roll switch bad?

we are not running a crazy random setup. we are just running everday bolt on parts, and why we choose to be in street class. we actually demoded the car a bit to meet the criteria to be in street. we added back almost 200lbs of weight in the rear doors and a 25lbs weight penalty for the front passenger door missing its glass + added a 100 cell cat.
as far as mods/power goes we are running an Element Tuning GT52 Turbo. Current power is nothing crazy, but enough to be competitive and tuned conservatively at under 400whp and slightly over that in tq.
the power band is really sweet with this turbo and I would highly recommend it over a FP green any day of the week.
