I've heard of it before now, and I'm impressed at what it can do. Here's the thing, nothing supports it right now unless you've written it yourself. As things start supporting the card I would look into buying it, not until then.

yeah i dont plan on buying it and i dont think i will need it with the nvidia 7900 512mb video card for a good amount of time hehe.

It's just another co-processor. There are these chips created every year by both large and small companies to speed up either graphics or number crunching and virtually none of them ever catch on in any significant way....well there was one that did pretty well (that company even went bankrupt) but most don't ammount to anything a year later.

hey there

i agree it is a bit early for these, but this company has good support, and according to many of the industry folks, when supported, this technology could very well take off. you never know, but I bet in a year this market will go off.

currently, there are barely any CPU's that acn keep up with the top-of-the line GPU's.....
