Don't you have to run that thing at near redline all the time, though.

I wouldn't think that was too good on hills, either.

probably make more money if you get to work faster by car and work an extra two hours with the time you save.

Sure they are, but their not allowed to run red lights and there's going to be about 50 of them from south SJ up to Mountain View.

Can't you simply figure out what you spend on gas now, subtract what you would pay for gas to cover the same miles at the better MPG and then divide the cost of the bike by the difference or whatever?

how is that relevant? nothing on the road is permited to run red lights... i dont see the point in your statement at all.

well cars can go on free ways and expressways.

you would take 1+ hr to arrive by scooter each way

hardly saves money, just wastes your time that you could otherwise spend working - unless you work at a really ****ty paying job i dont see how it would be a net savings.

If you get a scooter that is over 149cc you can take it on the freeway But at that point, it's probably better to just get a small motorcycle like a Ninja 250 unless you're really adverse to operating a clutch and shifting gears.
