In other parts of the world, its Colin McRae's DiRT. Its only sold as simply DiRT in the US.

But yeah, Travis Pastrana lent his voice to parts of the game.

And yeah, its very sad news...

I finally got to watch the x-games (been sitting on my DVR for a month now) and it made me remember why I love watching him drive. Such a great guy. I bet he would have been fun to go drink a beer with too.

I can't sleep. This is just devastating...

I still remember that awesome 01 WRC year for Burns and McRae... The games, the special TV events. I have a Divx copy of McRae's "Pedal to the Medal".

Just so sad

replied to the thread in General, but here it is again:

talk about a bummer for the world of rallying.

First Richard, now Colin...

Ironic as to how both of them died... Neither died rallying which goes to show you how safe those cars really are.

Man, he's was an all time great... can't believe he's gone. What makes it even worse is that his 5 year old son died too. Can you imagine how his wife feels? Colin left behind a daughter and his wife. My thoughts are with them.

RIP.

I have a personalized lic plate frame that says "WARNING! DRIVER THINKS HE'S COLIN!".

Hardly anyone knew what it meant unless you were a rally fan. I think I'll put it back on my car if I still have it.

(I had it on my car when I had the whole WRC graphic scheme on my RS)

I was going to mention that frame, but thought I'd let you do it. Definitely one of the fondest memories I have.

So many memories... Colin did so much for the sport we love. Even well past his prime he managed to encapsul and excite motorsports fans. It is truly a sad, sad day. RIP Colin...
