Only those intakes which have been issued a CARB (California Air Resources Board) E.O. (Exemption Order) number. Examples are the SPT intake sold by Subaru for certain models, and only those models, and a few others like AEM. If the intake is not original equipment or does not have an E.O. number, your car will most likely fail the visual inspection portion of the smog inspection in CA.
