Coilover Installation

Does anyone know of a reputable shop near or around south San Jose that could do a coilover installation?
Also how much do those usually cost? I'm new to this
thanks

I went to Auto Innovations in Milpitas for my spring install, cost $180 for the installation + alignment. I would guess it would probably be around there for coilovers too. I'm not too sure though, you can always get a quote from them. www.autoinnovations.com

if the coilovers are already assembled shouldn't it be less? Spring install involves taking apart the spring/strut assembly whereas installing an already pre-assembled coilover is just a matter of 2 bolts and 3 nuts at each corner (not including wheel removal).

I think the alignment costs more for coilovers than springs though, cause xhengmanx got quoted more for his alignment with coilovers

Coilover installation takes a little longer because you have to set the ride height. Unlike shocks and springs where there is "one" setting, coilovers have a variety of settings, mainly ride height.

If you got the time, you could do it yourself along with a few members on here that are willing to help. Its pretty much easy but sometimes time consuming but its worth it and saves money bro. Install day??

I agree
springs are a bit harder than coilovers but can be done
