Good place for reliable coilover installation / initial configuration

Yea, Ive made a couple threads lately. Sorry :x. I don't trust myself to do the installation - does anyone here in the forums have hands they would be willing to lend me for an afternoon at some point? I could help with what I could and offer beer lol. Aside from that, I don't expect to find any good willing help so I have to assume that I need to find a shop that can do it, however I can't be spending hundreds on labor. Any recommendations?

I am doing an install day. w00t. Going to be doing a rear drum to disc conversion though, but would be more than happy to have you guys show up. Hopefully, if everything is planned correctly, things should go smoothly.

When are you doing this? Fremont is kind of far from me.. Don't wanna drive the car with blown struts too far.

Will do. I was going to go to them for my alignment but I suppose why not do it all at the same place eh? I've heard nothing but good things about these guys.

i think you're looking at at least 120 just for installation. Thats how much they charge for spring/suspension installs.

I could deal with that no problem. I just don't want some 100$/hour bs.

it should be pretty cheap as its only 12 bolts on top and 8 bolts on the bottom with no springs to compress. me and a friend did my coilovers in around 1 and a half hour.

Where does AI have the room to install coilovers? All I saw was one SMALL bay with the alignment equipment and the lift. That place can only do one car at a time it seems. I had my car aligned there after GST installed the coilovers and rsb. GST might have their alignment equipment by now so you might check.

AI was great with my alignment. Really nice guys that love their subies. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Took less time than a haircut. I don't have camber plates or camber bolts so my alignmet was only $60. Couldn't have been happier (well maybe if I didn't have to drive RIGHT in FRONT of the Police station )
