Code p0441

Just had my CEL checked and its throwing code p0441 - evap control system fault. I looked in the area i was pointed to after checking online and I found that the hoses that connect to this and below it were really old, worn out and loose

Ive picked up the parts to replace the old ones because the hoses were really loose and one of them had even become disconnected on its own. I just wanna make sure loose hoses isnt the only problem that will cause p0441 because I need to have this fixed by this weekend so I can drive to LA.

Any advice please. TIA

I keep throwing the same code every two weeks. I suspect it may be an air leak at the gas tank of at the spot you're pointing to. Still have not figured it out. Good luck!

No idea. But check your charcoal canister at the back of the car...I hear some people have found that a hose was slightly loose and was the cause.

i normally use a little superglue around the hose to help it seal better. for the life of me i cant remember what fuse to pull to reset the ecu. i dont want to disconnect the batterys and my scan gauge is in auburn right now.

Uh oh, im an idiot. But which way does this flow toward? towards the mesh hose which goes to the purge solenoid or towards the other which connects to the intake?

mine came on right after installing a walbro and an intake manifold removal.

Just google an image of the engine bay and look.
