CoD Modern Warfare 2 OHBOYOHBOYOHBOY!!!
I just defend from an elevated spot and move around every so often. I used to get a nuke every 3 or 4 games. one time I got 3 nukes in a row.

BS kills. I don't see CoD as much of a skill game at all.
I guess you can argue that being at the right place at the right time IS skill, I think of it more as luck / knowledge of maps / and general devotion to the game.
I mean its so damn easy to get nukes and stuff when people die instantly.

- damage modeling and lag compensation play a big role in who dies in a 1v1 firefight. unfortunately, it seems to favor laggers.
- its a game. if it was entirely based on skill it would be called a proffession

I think that a game like Halo is more of a skill game. Where you don't die in 1 hit. Someone can be camping in a corner, you walk by, they follow and start shooting you in the back. In CoD, you are dead. In Halo, you can fight back and outskill them. That's really my only argument. Rarely in CoD do you face a situation where skill is a big factor.
When I play Cod I just defend, get harrier, get CG, get nuke.
Except CTF, I like to capture flags.

well there are two things to consider here:
- damage modeling and lag compensation play a big role in who dies in a 1v1 firefight. unfortunately, it seems to favor laggers.
