Cobb intake question

Just installed the sf intake and airbox on my 05 wrx. There is an L shaped bracket that I didn't install...anyone know what that is or if its important? Lol

I think you are referring to the bracket that supports the intake by connecting to one of the 3 bolts chassis just under the intake area. I'd put it on.

you have the air box, so you wont need it. it should be secured by the airbox..
