cobb ecu

does the cobb stage 2 ecu look like a stock ecu or does it have cobb on it somewhere?

IIRC, it is a stock ECU reprogrammed to COBB's spec. It should look exactly the same.

ecutek is a company

You can get reflashed at gruppe-s to run ECUtek software, you will get a dyno tune custom to YOUR car and california gas.

You will make much better power and you won't be knocking all the time

i got my ecutek at www.eqtuning.com . I love it and agree with 02blackwrx. It will make way more power and be safer. Just with a cat back on my 04wrx and tune i am as fast as a cobb stage 2(02wrx). I say 3 cats being faster then 1 highflow is way better. So a custom ecutek is way better.

never caused knocking. And I would wager that my car has far more miles on it and spent much more time with Cobb then most everyone with Ecutek. I haven't experienced knocking or any problems related to turning once.
I'll be sure to keep you guys informed if i ever have ONE problem with Cobb.

i think a poll is required to see if cobb is better or ecutek is better. it seems like ppl have pros and cons about both ecu's.
