I would have to agree with pwn. They would lose a ton of money on trade-ins. Unless (hopefully not) they used the same casing as the "old" AP then it would be possible.

yeah, they are releasing the evo AP as well after sema, prob getting ready for that. Its supposed to have a lot more features than the current

there is a thread floating around either on here, nasioc, or the cobb forum w/a pic of the new ap. not sure if they will use that design though.

interesting how that blurb only talks about the evo AP (which I didnt even realize they made one for) however i didnt read the whole thread so maybe there was mention of that fact already.

yup. check out the cobb forums. they're workin on AP's for the 350z's, G35's, and mazda crowds.

well I still say we push for a trade-in program for a good deal off of the new ap

given the suby comunity helped Cobb grow

I agree but I think it's wishful thinking. They would be stuck with a bazillion old AP's.

I'm sure they share some same internal components

They might also continue to sell old APs for cheaper....who knows

They're planning on releasing the new AP after SEMA. I've heard rumors of some sort of trade-in program, but nothing is confirmed. The new AP is going to have USB, internal logging, a much more compact and slick form factor as well as some other cool features.
