Cobb Ap Help! Car Won't Start!!!

Ok,

So I just got my Cobb AP v1. I followed all the instructions, I connected the 2 green connectors and attached the extra white connector. I turned off the car and turned it to the on position. I attached my AP to my car and it immediately asked what map I want to flash. So I chose a Stage 2 for my car that was provided by the tuner. So as it was flashing, it said "there was a problem with the connection... Trying again" and it would do this for several minutes. So I took off the cable and tried again. So then when I repeated, it would go to the main menu as if it was installed. So I decided to revert back to stock and same thing it would say "There was a problem with the connection... Trying again". And now after taking out all the little cable pieces, my car won't START!!! HELP!!

UPDATE: Well Cobb said that my error might be involved with several things... My cable is too old and I should use a new one. And/or my maps are corrupted

UPDATE #2: CAR WORKS!!!! It turned out my cable is VERY worn out, so I had to set it down on the floor and literally be motionless. So right now I just have Cobb's stage 2 91 OCT

Question, I got several mixed responses, but should I run Cobb's stage 2 ACN 91 OCT as a base map or a realtime map?

how's your battery? I had problems uninstalling my old AP when my battery was running low. I ended up having to hook up the charger to the battery for the whole process

connect the connectors when finished?

AP compatible with your vehicle? (ie year?)

I did. Nothing is connected to my car and now it won't start. It just cranks but doesn't actually start. I think my battery is fine

Yes, the owner assured me, and he had pretty good credentials (he owns a tuning shop). And the first thing the AP asked when I hooked it up was what map you want to install

I left the connectors on the whole way...

And the owner repeatedly asked if I had a 02-03 wrx

I'd suggest calling Cobb in the morning

resetting your ECU probably wont do much because your ECU has been flashed with a basemap of some sort, not a realtime (which would be erased by resetting)

maybe your car is married to another AP?

reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, then try again

Well it did say it had problems communicating whatever that means. So if I somehow found someone else's ap cable, I might have more success flashing?

I guess I'll have to TRY sleeping on this tonight and hopefully cobb will help.

When I tried to reset the ecu from the main menu, I got the same error, it would just keep saying that I have a problem communicating and it would continuously try again
