Faster flash, half the time of V2. Better screen. Able to see more readings during live view.

Just wish COBB had made it Bluetooth so you could nix the cord.

Just trying to see if its worth trading up..
I personally think this will be a stepping stone for future updates on the v3 platform. There are multiple inputs on the unit, which suggests to "me" that in future they will come up with a means to add external inputs (that way you will be able to tie in external EGT sensor , wideband, etc...). It can easily be done with a simple junction box. Greddy even offers this on there informeter touch.

I could be completely off base here but I think that is the future of the v3 unit but that's just my thinking towards future and hoping they do that.

If they nix the cord, I would definitely buy one. But flashing without a hardwire connection might be iffy.

It would be great if they went that route instead of treat it like an Ipod/Ipad to try and milk money from it.

COBB for sure WILL offer a "used buy back program" (just like with the v1's), you can count on it!

That's exactly what I was thinking as I've been looking at the Greddy recently. If they release a module for this one to do the same thing and the total package costs less, then I might be interested in this one.

Since I like using my phone to access some of the data from OBD2 when racing and record it, I wonder if I can use a Y cable to keep that working but also get the AP info as well.

Or, just find some other way to get MPH and REVs into my Videos

Can you add EGT to Greddy's Informeter now?

Pretty sure it does EGT as well, its been a bit since I've installed one of these units but these are our install choice as of a long time ago

Greddy Informeter: Greddy + Electronics Catalog | LIC Motorsports

Here it is installed on one of our customers cars

Just confirmed, no it doesn't do external EGT unless you have a aftermarket ECU...I couldn't remember if it was plug and play for EGT or not.
