sweet, works on my forester. but i've already got a pro-tune done, so my AP just sits in the box till it's needed.

The tuner will update it for the new AP and you'll be able to load it on the new unit.

Think you're missing the point that this can be used as multiple gauges.

How accurate are the readings from the AP?

All the readings are the same ones that the ECU is seeing. The AFR part is useless though.

I ment to say some like to view the readings to make sure everything is running correctly. I always have mine running but that's a personal preference. It's really good to check and monitor things from time to time even if you have a pro-tune. Just my 2 cents. If it wasn't for the ability to monitor a couple different readings simultaneously i would be skipping this unit as well.

Cheers for being pro-tuned!

I think the readings are reasonably accurate. Its the same info your ECU is seeing.

Things I would look at are, intake temps, boost, knock, water temps, and probably vehicle speed and gear position when on the track. They honestly aren't the most useful readings, but when you're pushing your car hard they can tell you more than just one reading.

If you really want to know how your engine is doing, you'll still need oil temp and pressure gauges, which the OEM computer and the AP don't read.

I'm not seeing anything on the v3 other than aesthetic upgrades. Anyone want to point out what else was changed? faster flash? modify maps on the AP instead of through a computer? force readiness monitors?

Just trying to see if its worth trading up..
