Clutch install shop around Sac
Hey all,
I posted this same question on nasioc with no response so far. I need some help fast
My clutch has been going for a long time and started to slip pretty bad just today. I think I will be ordering an ACT or Exedy sport clutch with a new flywheel within a day or two, but I have no idea where to go for the install.
I have heard many people say that it can be done for $300. I am not a guy with a lot of money... I have to buy the new clutch with a student credit card, so if anyone knows where I can get a good install without being bent over, it would be appreciated. I am definately cool with going to a dealer, but I am not sure how much I can expect to be charged.
Anyone have a reccomendation? Also, anyone have reccomendations on which clutch to go with?

whats up man this is (Gc8sac) havent seen you in a while, but yeah Call platinum Performance 916-421-9101 and ask for chuck tell him Mark sent you .... there located on sunrise and coloma near that in & out, hope this helps

Car Info: I got a couple :)
We can do the clutch install for $300 (labor only) and if you leave it in the morning you can pick it up in the afternoon. Just make sure you have all the parts 
..
Oh and there are places to hang out in the area so you wont get bored...Union Landing (best one to go) and Southland Mall etc. both have movie places so you can watch and kill time.

That sounds good if only you weren't so far from me. I probably wouldn't mind making the drive, but couldn't do it during the week due to full time work and school..... anyways, I will see if I can find anything closer and maybe give you a call. If you were here though man, I would be happy for sure

Just wanted to keep this thread alive if anyone could recommend a shop to get my new clutch installed, around Sac. The cheapest dealer quote I could get was $390... but they seemed really **** saying they would only do it if it was a Subaru part. I ordered the exedy clutch from a subaru dealer, but anyways $390 is pretty high. One dealer even quoted me $600 something!!!
Anyone know where I can get a good install for a decent price around Sac?

whats up man try this shop capitol high performance there located in natomas near frys 916-923-3522 and makr sure you ask for todd tell him your my friend he'll hook it up if you have the parts already, if they charge too much try redline performance there located off of sunrise down the street from the subaru wrecking yard and ask for tom 916 853 9155
