Dude,
I just moved a PC internals to a new case, and I turned it on and the damned IDE RAID Array caught fire!
It scared the **** out of me! I am in the navy, and every sailor is a firefighter, so my instincts took over. I disconnected the source, and put it out, but damn...
That was a first. I am thinking that maybe a tiny metal shard dropped into the PCB of one of the hardrives with open circuitry (Maxtor).
That was a first. On the ship you train for stuff like this day in and day out, but for it to have really happened...dude...I was tripping!
