Why? Because they use no front license plate to pull us over just to harrass us about our legal (yes, legal) exhausts, asking if we have any other modification and sending us to the state ref.

The CHP around here are doing too much "rice patrol" and not enough enforcement, such as stopping some of the drunk drivers like the one that crashed in my sister, or the few that have passed me on highway 68 late at night.

think before you pass judgement on someone.

 

As soon as detector goes off, hit brakes, slow to speed limit, turn laser jammer off, chp now gets reading on you at regular speed, doesnt pull you over.

a day with out CHP's great! hehe..i recently was given a ticket for speeding and i was not speedin. 65 on a 70 ..fought it and lost. i suspected to be traveling 86 and i had video evidence that i wasn't speeding and that the cop didn't actaully know how fast i was going and was just told from a cop ahead that i was speeding. judge didn't even look at my evidence and just gave me the ticket. *** Colulsa County CHP. or Willows Springs. more accidents? nah just instead of waiting 45+ min. for the chp to respond to a emergency you would have a city cop or sheriff respond in 5 min.

the chp is a waste... they do nothing but suck the green from our pockets. id love to see all those millions used on the chp to fund gang tast forces, drug units, and crime fighting units.. oh how nice that would be

lidar also doesn't shoot out beams in wide angles. even laser guns use to have like a 4ft wide beam. with lidar, the cops have you on crosshairs, and it's basically a thin dot so you can't claim it was another car due to the crosshairs and thin beam

 

haha, my uncle is a CHP, I know exactly what they do, but to make such a blatant bold statement about someone based on one comment, is pretty idiotic. That's saying a whole lot about a person who is really cool and actually obeys the law more than I do...
