what is a "LIDAR"? or LASER-RADAR?
just wondering if a V1 could pick this signals up

 

where on 24 are they patrolling?

 

of my understanding of lidar, is that the v1 will detect it but by that time it might be too late, since it is aimed directly at your car? correct me if i'm wrong...

 

ok so i drove today from the intersection of hwy 4 and 242 all the way to auto mall in fremont off 680 and didn't see a single cop

 

hmm... they must have gone home by then. When I saw the 6-7 CHP cars/bikes it was at around 8am and noon. Four were parked on the interchanges of 4-680 and 4-242 on on each onramp and off ramp. Then I saw a CHP camero on the top of the hill when entering Bay Point and two CHP bike cops (may have been the same one twice, hence 6-7) in the area of HWY4 by Somersville in Pitt.

i saw a CHP at the 4/680 interchange yesterday. also, i notice that the CHP has been camping out in Orinda pretty often recently. theres this 1 part they ALWAYS hide in. if you are in the far left you cant even see them there untill its too late due to the shade and cover

 

Honestly, it's about time, I rarely see any CHP on 580/680.
