If you knew me, you'd understand.

Do you have any idea how strange it looks to have some tall freak of nature jumping over cars!? Well, its not something you see everyday... and besides, my friend Dee said he could jump higher than me... so then we had a competition and he lost.

Strange I'll give you that much. Are you a baller, or just a jumper? Do you jump over pretty much anything? Did "Dee" do a face plant into the hood of a car, is that how he lost the bet?

IMO, jumping has way more to do with glutes and quads than it does calves. It's not about calf raises, it's about squizzats.

Its true to an extent... but you do need calves in order to jump. Glutes/hamstrings are def very important too.

No, Dee didn't do a face plant. I play soccer, not basketball... I'm either a forward or goalkeeper.

Hamstrings have nothing to do with jumping.

Thats bs... especially if you're running and jumping.

Do something for me real quick... sit in a chair and put one foot on the ground a do a jumping-like motion... feel your hamstrings while you're doing it. Why do people always neglect them!? Calves are def a good muscle to have for jumping...

oh yeah, and squats suck! They are so bad for you knees... lunges is where its at.
