Well when it's a modded car, the CEL can sometimes be chalked up to a mod. However, since your car is stock I'd get it checked out.

depending on the situation, it could merely be just bad, or completely fatal to the engine.......

so an update...i called LIC and they told me to clear them and if they come back then come in for a check. i cleared the codes and they did not come back. i went in anyway just to get an inspection cause i bought the car used and car came back 100% stock with no problems and no CEL codes! awsome. only thing was i had 20% tread left on tires (they were stock and the car is a 06 ) last week i got TOYO proxes 4 per recomendation from LIC installed for $570. Been up to the snow twice and couldnt be happier. thanks for the help!!!!

A flashing CEL means you have a missfire. There are many potential causes for this, so it would need to be checked out.

Please help me!! I got a cel misfire cylinder #4..this is wat i did,changed all spark plugs..still got cel misfire #4,next i switched out the coil #4 to coil #2..and still popped up cel misfire #4..now im stuck on wat to do next...

depending on mileage...it could likely be tight valve(s) on cylinder #4.

I would need more info on the car and mods and of course a good proper diagnostic to determine

You can do a compression/leakdown test at this point. If that comes back normal you can try swapping the #4 injector with another one and see if the missfire follows it. If it doesn't I would probably start looking into wiring. Give us a call if you have any questions.
