CF Blinker Question

So I just picked up a set of replica cf blinker covers this weekend and went to put them on and realized that it doesn't seem to fit right. The thing didn't come with directions so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Anyways I pulled the sidemarker off and cleaned the open surface then when I was checking for proper fitting it didn't line up right with the molding. Am I suppose to trim it for proper fitting? Any help would be great.

I had the same problem with my Gruppe-S CF markers, it seemed one side was bigger than the other... You should try to swap sides or maybe trim them to get them to match.

ummm it is a 5 minute install..... i've seen a few people install them and installed a set on my car. they line up perfectly. you must have them reversed because there is no cutting involved.

Nah I have it lined up correctly but for some reason they just don't fit right with the molding. Seems to be a bit big at the corners. I'm gonna measure it out and cut what I don't need off.

I have the real STi CF covers and it doesn't "plug" into a hole...

it's identical to the replicas only differences is the pattern in the CF weave.

it's not meant to completely fill the indentation in your fender... no trimming should be needed.
