thats kinda cool actually...sucks for us...but oh well...i just look at their plates when i see a suspicious car, if it says CA Exempt i investigate a little more and theres a cop in there, i slow down to whats allowed in the area....but if its not...bye bye lol 
CHP is getting a lot of new stuff. My Dad is an officer in the North Sac office.
He gets a new thing in his squad car tomorrow. He told me that it is a camera hooked up to a computer that has every stolen car's license plate number in it from California. The camera is always scanning license plates and the computer reads it. When it finds a stolen license plate, the screen will flash red.
And BTW. CHP doesn't only patrol the Highway. People are too often mistaken by this.
