let me further say... when i bought my car from stevens creek... I can be certain when I say that I could not have received that price from any other dealer.
They posted the car for for $2,000 OVER blue book... and I bought it for $2400 UNDER blue book.
You won't receive that price ANYWHERE else.

Bought my car from Larry, very cool/honest guy.

Just took my car there for the 30k service, and they replaced my clutch their as well all covered under warranty. excellent turnaround, excellent service.

Went to Carlsen first and ended up buying from Stevens Creek. If you don't mind paying more for the same car then buy from Carlsen. While the guy Andrea I met wasn't rude, he wasn't courteous at all. They are overrated.

If you can't negotiate at all and want to pay more just to get out of the dealership quickly, then go to Carlsen. I think some people is willing to pay more for that. Not me though. I would rather save a few hundreds by spending half an hour or so more buying elsewhere.

Brought my car in on Tuesday for a CEL, the 2 recalls, and clutch shudder. Got my car back just now with the clutch assembly replaced, ECU reprogrammed, and both recalls taken care of. AND my car was washed. I'm very satisfied with their service. Prompt, no run-around, no hassles, no problems. Two thumbs up for Carlsen Subaru of Redwood City from me!

For poor college students who can barely afford gas at roughly $2.60/gal. Santa Cruz is too far to drive. Carlsen is a great alternative.
