Holy crap... Last night was intense. There are so many branches in my backyard, chairs all over the place... Probably the loudest wind I have ever heard. My power was out most of the night so my clock was screwed up. I woke up expected it to be like 7 30 and it was 11:00!!

880 this morning wasn't so bad going to work from Hayward -> Fremont. Lots of rain but only 2 accidents on the side of the road along with the usual rude SUV drivers.

damn it. Tree just came down between my office and the way out and the road is flooded above and below my office. Toss in an accident above my office and the folks are busy on my road.

Just drove down to So Cal. Saw a flipped semi, 2 people driving in the left shoulder thinking it's a lane up the grape vine (bad visibility, but still, the shoulder!), and an accident with 2 semis.
Even down here, there's flash flood warnings, alerts for people to get to higher ground, etc.
