CARB OE stickers

Are we still talking about the KA24 Greddy kit or aftermaket parts in general?

Some companies with deeper pockets (like Greddy) would do the CARB thing because it does open up more of the market for them. I have a Greddy kit on my Honda, and it comes with the gay sticker. However, if you look at most of the other kits for the Honda, fmax, revhard, drag, etc, are not CARB legal.

For our cars, I would love to see more than 1 choice when it comes to CARB legal intakes. The only option for my STI is the K&N Typhoon. No one makes a CARB legal intercooler. BOV? fergetaboutit. My point was simple: If we keep buying parts that don't have the sticker, then they'll continue to make and sell parts without the sticker. Things will change when other states start requiring their gay stickers, but right now, CA people get the shaft.

You think we'll ever get this? There's gotta be more upgraded WRXs out there than turbo'd KA24s. If GReddy made this a legal kit I'd sell my vf34 in a heartbeat... although I might continue to use the UTEC and put the eManage on for smog checks By the time I have to get my car smogged I might be a daddy and I don't even want to imagine how little time I'd have to try and get my car to pass smog let alone getting ticketed and ending up having to remove everything before a depressing trip to the state ref. Has anyone even heard any rumors about legal kits?

um, what kind of turbo is going to make 400whp with 7psi on a 2.4 liter engine. With an STI 2.5L engine and a huge FP Green at almost 30psi on race gas wont even make 400whp

Whoops that was a typo, shoulda been "300whp". Although +400whp is not uncommon for turbo'd KA24s. And the torque on these things is equally as impressive. Go search around 240sx forums... its weird, its like this little known secret. These KA24's with their iron, indestructable engines can just take punishment like a Supra 2JZ and just boost away.

The #s I'm giving doesn't even include that my friend also just got it bored (no stroking, stock rods) to 2.7L. Its gonna suck for me and my WRX
