CARB stickers (for K&N Typhoon intake)
hey so I got a tyhpoon intake anyone have an extra carb sticker for it or can make one? Let me know. I'm sure a lot of other people are interested as well. If you do have a carb sticker but don't have any extra post a pic of it. Since i've been planning to make some home made "carb stickers" thanks!

Have you tried asking K&N directly? It would be good to have one of those so the cops can't hassle you too much. I emailed K&N about the Carb thing, but at that time, the STi was not exempt with the typhoon, and the guy who I corresponded with said it probably never will. I checked their website recently and guess what, it's legal now. I'm going to send them an email right now asking whats up and see if I can get myself a sticker. Jerks need to get their company communication a little better, I was going to copy and paste my emails but in there somewhere said the message cannot be publicized or copied or what not, don't want to get in trouble.

I have been looking for one for a long time. I tried email them but didn't get any response.

Getting a CARB sticker from K & N is annoying.
1. Download & print out the form.
2. Take a picture of the intake installed with your registration next to the product.
3. Take a picture of the VIN tag with the registration next to it.
4. Mail it all to K & N and hope they process it sometime before you sell the car.

thanks so much for the help guys! I'll try emailing k&n if I do get a sticker I'll try to get some imitation stickers made hahaha it will sure help a lot of people here on the boards with a fmic setup using an aftermarket intake. Yeah I know here in fairfield cops aren't to bad with modified cars, but I tend to go to the penninsula a lot like burlingame, foster city area and cops suck over there. That was where my car was orginally sent to the state ref.
